On May 30th, Wine Down Wednesday got a lot cooler. Sure, there are boutiques on second street. But none like Elizabeth Lockhart’s “Southern Hippie”. The store is completely mobile and is merchandised beautifully in an 1965 Airstream ‘globetrotter’ trailer. You can also check out their intimate boutique in Georgetown, TX. For those of us in Austin it is great that she can bring her upscale contemporary designers to us. She did just that for May’s last Wine Down Wednesday. Boutique shoppers and Jimmy Buffet goers at ACL Live loved stepping right into her mobile boutique. Watch out for updates on their Facebook page and check out their sister lines like “Baby Hippie”.
