This month we wanted to feature some people that are usually in the background –  our contributors! Every time we feature an artist it means  a team of makeup artists,  hair stylists, a photographer, a stylist, and a writer. They are the  driving force behind what gets the  article finished and ready for our  audience…. and we love them for it! Our creative  collective had a blast  at our group shot at the beloved Highball. We did a quick Q&A  with  each contributor. Those interviews can be found under our  “Featured Guest”  section this month.

Also exciting, Linda and I had a chance to meet some awesome people  who are like-  minded in their business efforts. Discovering unknown  talent can be a lot of fun and is  applicable to many fields. While I am  being vague, what I am getting at is keep a look  out for a really fun  party we are going to throw early February with these talented  music  professionals. Responsible for unknowns to world-famous bands, this  music  producer is on the hunt to find local talent and help them grow.  In an introduction to  the Austin scene, we are co-hosting a party for our readers and music followers that is  going to kick some serious ass.  You don’t want to miss this!!

Charlie Terrell, is our featured artist this month. He is going to do a very  cool contest  for AFM. The contest will include you – our readers! He has an impressive  art portfolio and is the creative force behind live shows for bands like  Nine Inch Nails, Maroon 5, Motley Crue and Aerosmith. Charlie has graciously agreed  to make three pieces of art based on pictures of you! That’s right, you  submit pictures to our Austin Fusion Facebook wall. Charlie is going to  pick three submissions, make an original piece of art based on your  picture, and debut them at our  Austin Fusion Magazine party in February.
